Union Membership

DOCOM Consulting is acutely aware that Companies exist in a larger world that is also evolving.  For instance, the National Writers Union joined the UAW 15 years ago.  The Graphic Artists Guild came onboard in March 1999. DOCOM Consulting  believes it must, and is actually very excited about, expanding its commitment to UAW's total labor movement.   

DOCOM Consulting will, of course, work with the union printers that you select.  But we also will go further than that.   All DOCOM Consulting writers and instructional designers, and our graphic production professionals, will be union members.  Anyone who does not belong to the appropriate union will be required to join before working on any project.  It is a policy by which everyone wins.  Companies have an opportunity to award contracts to  DOCOM Consulting,
while employing members from multiple unions.  The participating unions have an opportunity to increase membership.  Likewise, Companies have an opportunity to meet quality professionals that it might otherwise not identify with the contemporary labor environment.
